Lately I have been learning about the Ancient Greeks. Greek art, Greek literature, Greek history; Greek, Greek, Greek. Well, what better way to carry that over into my entertainment than to watch the greatest movie ever that contains Greeks: 300. Yes, a small group of other students and I watched 300 tonight, and it. Was. EPIC!!! Well, that much being said, my room is finally clean, just in time for open hall, and I have to become an expert on Alexander the Great by Monday. Much fun :)

THIS IS... Belhaven...
First off, let me say that I am feeling much better, and am convinced it was just a little cold. That being said, on to more important things.

Bleck :P
I'm not feeling well atm. I'm coming down with what I believe to be a head cold, but I'm not sure. I've been taking some medicine to try to combat the illness. Now I just have to wait, and hope that it blows over by Sunday. Tests coming up in Literature and Art tomorrow, got an A on my first History test, and I'm confident in my performance on today's English test(I almost wrote yesterday's English test. It's been a slow day.) Right now I'm about to head to bed to try and sleep it off, praying I'll be better in the morning.

Update
So I've actually put this off because, sadly, I didn't make it past the first round, and the reasons, kind of bothered me. I'm not really going to go into it, but I feel like I should have won, but whatever. Had my first history test Monday, and I feel like I did a pretty good job. Apart from that there's nothing really worth noting academic wise.
We're having an open hall in the men's dorms sometime next week. I have no idea what we're gonna do, but hey, we'll figure it out as we go along :P
Still waiting for them to start up the Flag Football Intramural, but they're in the middle of Volleyball right now I think. Food's not bad imo, but apparently there aren't a whole lot that agree with that sentiment. Found a group to roll dice with, 2nd edition advanced, but still. Don't know when, or even if it's going to be a fixed schedule, or just whenever we have time that week, which will make things interesting.
That's about all that I can think of for now. I'll post again when I've something relevant to say.

Labor Day Weekend
So I get a long weekend for Labor Day, but I was so far behind on homework that I haven't really gotten to enjoy it much. But now I'm down to two projects left, and they're writing projects so I shouldn't have a problem. I'm probably going to break the rules and do one or both of them tomorrow... >:)
I'm still waiting for a package my mom sent to arrive in the mail. She sent it Friday I think, but the mailroom isn't open on the weekends, so I have to wait until Tuesday. But from Tuesday onward to an undefined point in time, I shall be rocking out to Skillet in my dorm. Sorry, Adam, but Owl City and Underoath can wait!
I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to do this weekend, other than enter the Intramural Pool tournament they're holding the The Corner Pocket tomorrow. I'll probably have an entry after that's done, though, to let you guys know how I did. Current prediction: I'll be pleasantly surprised if I make it past the first round.

I know it's been a few days, but I've had a lot of studying to do lately. I got to go to my first College football game though, which was fun, but extremely frustrating, because I knew the moment that someone made a mistake. And they were playing an NCAA Division II team, and we're not even in the NCAA, so we were at a disadvantage and lost 43-3... sound familiar anybody?
My roommate, Adam, decided to go visit his family in Louisiana this past weekend, and invited me along. So I spent the weekend at his parent's house, and Saturday night had to put up with his room being taken over by, of all things, what he calls 'The Horde'. His younger brother's group of gamer friends that gather together and play World of Warcraft in the only room in the house that receives WiFi signal: Adam's. But we managed to entertain ourselves the the 360 in the other room. ;)
I have also lately had Piano Man stuck in my head, as one of my friends here has decided to learn how to play it, and practices constantly during meal-time hours. Could be worse though, at least I like the song.
